Job Description
Technical Requirements
- Assist in originating and executing investment banking transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, capital raising, and advisory mandates.
- Conduct financial modelling, valuation analysis, and financial forecasting to support investment decisions and client engagements.
- Perform due diligence by analyzing financial statements, market data, and business performance to assess investment opportunities and transaction risks.
- Prepare transaction documentation, presentations, pitch books, and investment proposals for clients and stakeholders.
- Support fundraising activities, including investor roadshows, client meetings, and preparation of supporting materials.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and work collaboratively with legal, accounting, and other professional teams to ensure transactions comply with regulatory and industry standards.
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related Social Science discipline.
- Relevant professional certification such as GSE/GISI, CISI, CFA, or equivalent is an added advantage.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and financial modelling skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with experience preparing financial reports and presentations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial solutions clearly and professionally.
- Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
